For FieldPower to choose the lowest cost worker(s) who can get the work done on the first visit, the Field Service computer system needs to know what resources are available. Vendors or other departments within your company manage their own workers, schedules, and skills without bothering you using FieldPower's Vendor Management Software. Vendors need to be made aware that they will only receive work from you if they keep their workers schedules up to date.

A web Extranet provides your field service vendors with a secure method of furnishing the information you need for intelligent scheduling /dispatching, and for receiving work related information from you. Specifically vendors provide

• Work Schedules of each of their employees
• Skills
• Certifications (union, insurance, security, specialty) with expiration dates
• Worker location

FieldPower considers these together with additional constraints such as part availability and future location or work when assigning the correct worker to the job.

Workers are easily scheduled and grouped into teams if desired using the vendor management software.
